About the film

Just like you, we were shocked and devastated to hear the news, not long after we saw him at Arrowhead Stadium welcoming Tony Richardson into the ring of honor, that former Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer has Alzheimer’s disease. We grew up in the 1990’s during the rebirth of Kansas City Chiefs football, thanks to Marty Schottenheimer, and that era will always hold a special place in our hearts, as I’m sure it does for every Chiefs fan, player, and coach who was a part of that. 

We want to make this film for a number of reasons with those being: wanting to share with Marty a collection of different memories from different perspectives, thanking him for what he did for us, and reaching out to tell him that we are all thinking of him and sending him and his family our best wishes. 

We are asking for video submissions from fans, players, coaches, teammates, media members, or anyone who wants to share their memories of this great coach and man. Click the Be A Part of the Film tab for more information. Thank you!
